Shadowed spaces protected from the wind

There are two seemingly contradictory aspects that will lead to the solution. On the one hand there is a purpose to get an overall picture that allows us to obtain a unitary reading of the whole intervention. On the other hand there are multiple premises operating individually and whose uses vary over time and may even get to be empty for long periods.
This double condition makes us think of the proposal as a modular way that serves the individuality of each premise and whose repetition will generate the global image. An image in which seriation and discontinuity will intervene to keep away from a continuous roof and in response to future situations of occupation of the premises, which gives the proposal a high degree of flexibility.
This modular piece is understood as a furniture that can be moved at any time or be dismantled and built on site. A furniture that is a free standing wooden lattice that becomes a sieve that protects the user from the sun and wind while conceiving the space as an outdoor space in which visual relationships with the sea, the beach and vegetation existing are established.
Structurally, the modular piece comprises four wooden ribs laminated C-shaped which, due to their geometry and continuity, allow the modules to be self-supporting. This structure is inspired by the skeletons of ships in which the frames are similar to the racks used.
